The Barnard + Columbia Architecture New Year Show Opening Reception

All are invited to join us on Wednesday, January 28th, to celebrate the opening of the Architecture Department's New Year Show. The exhibition will feature work by students in Advanced Architectural Research & Design in the McCagg Gallery, as well as projects from other Fall 2025 courses installed throughout the 4th and 5th floors of the Diana Center. 

Design work from over 300 students in the following courses will be on display:

Design Futures: NYC, Sections 1-3
Introduction to Architectural Design & Visual Culture, Sections 1 + 2
Architectural Design: Systems & Materials, Sections 1 + 2

Advanced Architectural Design I
Advanced Architectural Research & Design 
Special Topics: The Immersive Room
Special Topics: Abstraction, Projection, Distortion
Independent Study

The reception will be held from 6:00-7:30 PM at The Louise McCagg Gallery, The Diana Center, with pizza and light refreshments provided. This event is free and open to the public. To register, please read the instructions below. 

Registration Instructions: 
Please note that any attendees without an active Columbia University ID (CUID) must register here before 4 PM, January 26th, to ensure they can access campus for the reception.

All other attendees (with a CUID) are still asked to complete our registration form to help us estimate the headcount for this event.
